Royal Institute Christmas Lecture to Feature Skeleton from Viking Massacre

This year’s Christmas Lecture from the Royal Institute will be presented by Professor Dame Sue Black on the secrets of forensic science. The lectures will be on BBC Four at 8pm on 26th Dec, 27th Dec and 28th Dec. And available afterwards on iPlayer.

The lecture will feature a skeleton from our excavations at Elizabeth House, St. John’s College, Oxford. The results of the excavations are published in Monograph 17 (£24.00+postage and packaging, available for purchase).

Below are links to our previous news articles about the skeletons found as well downloadable PDFs of the display posters used at the open day in 2010.
