TVAS North Midlands: Excavations at Dumbleton, Gloucestershire Open Day

TVAS North Midlans are hosting an open day at their excavations at Dumbleton, Gloucestershire on Sunday 10th May, 10am – 4pm. Access to site will be via the Village Club (see below for details).

So far the excavations have uncovered evidence of a Late Iron Age/Roman rural settlement in the form of multiple ditches and enclosures, stone structures and ring gullies.

The finds recovered so far mainly consist of pottery, animal bone, a few coins and metal finds some of which will be on display at the open day.
