TVAS Reading: Silver Street, Reading Excavation Talk for Friends of Reading Abbey

Recently, David Sanchez (Project Coordinator and the supervisor for the excavations at Silver Street) gave a talk to the Friends of Reading Abbey on the excavations at Silver Street, Reading.

The talk summarised the results of the excavation at Silver Street, Reading including the discovery of a Medieval tilery that was supplying tiles to Reading Abbey. As well as occupation during the Late Medieval period and Later Post-Medieval periods.

The talk was well received and we would like to thank the Friends of Reading Abbey for inviting us and to everyone who listened to the talk.
