TVAS Reading: Moor Lane, Staines excavation open day

An open day was held on 17th March 2023 for Egham-by-Runnymede Historical Society and friends at Moor Lane, Staines.

The open day was very successful with a large crowd attending for a guided site tour by Senior Project Officer Andy Taylor and to view a selection of finds from the ongoing excavation.

The excavations have currently revealed features mainly dating to the Saxon and Bronze Age periods.
