Formed in 1988, TVAS has three decades experience in dealing with the archaeological implications of modern development projects and the requirements of the planning system. We have carried out over two thousand projects in the intervening years. These projects range from one person/day watching briefs to substantial area excavations. Our involvement in a project is dependant on the scale and nature of the archaeology present.
TVAS has experence in a wide range of project types inculding:
Watching briefs, Desktop surveys, Heritage assessments, Specialist analyses (struck flint, human/animal bone), Aerial photography, 3d models (artefacts, landscapes, graves, ets), Geophysical (magnetic), Urban evaluation and excavation (any size)
